Arrive in Vienna and check in at the elegant Hotel InterContinental, within walking distance of the city’s best shopping. After settling into your room, we meet for a relaxing dinner at the Intercontinental’s MediterraNeo. Evening on your own, ask the concierge for suggestions since we are on the inner circle of Vienna with so much to see and do.
Dec 29th
Breakfast at the hotel.
Meet in lobby for a sightseeing tour of Vienna including the visit to the Schönbrunn Palace.
Stop for lunch at the restaurant Griechenbeisl famous for centuries, for its delicious cuisine.
Its doorway has been graced by such famous figures as Mark Twain, Ludwig von Beethoven, Johann Strauss and Count Ferdinand von Zeppelin.
Afternoon at your leisure.
Meet in the lobby for a festive traditional dinner at one of Vienna’s finest restaurants “Heuriger Fuhrgassl-Huber”.
Dec 30th
Breakfast at the hotel.
Walking tour of Vienna with English speaking guide. Visit St. Stephen’s Cathedral, see the Hofburg Palace and many other interesting sights in Old Town.
Afternoon at your leisure, have lunch on your own at one of many fine restaurants in Vienna.
Meet in lobby on our way to the Spanish Riding School to see the famed Lipizzaner horses perform.
Afterwards we have dinner at the Martinelli.
Dec 31st
Breakfast at the hotel.
With so much to see and do, you have today to plan your own adventure: whether you wish to shop, visit the street markets or see some galleries, the hotel concierge has many recommendations.
Our anticipated evening begins as we meet in the lobby for our horse-drawn carriages to the Hofburg Imperial Palace and enjoy a royal dinner as we begin the countdown to midnight. Ring in the New Year in style at the Royal Families former residence.

Monday- Jan 1st, 2020
Depart after breakfast to the famed New Year's Day Concert at the Palace. An uplifting performance will have you in the mood for lunch at Vienna's delicious Care' Central.
Board the private motor coach bound for the delights of Budapest and a stay at the elegant Hilton Hotel Castle district. Tonight we make our way to the famous "Halaszbastya" restaurant'and for an evening of authentic Hungarian food, folk music and dancing.
Monday- Jan 2nd, 2020
Breakfast at hotel We begin a magical morning tour of one of Europe's greatest cities. Afterwards, you can stop at "Vasarcsarnok Market" for lunch and shopping on your own or return to the hotel to relax before another great evening in Budapest.
Depart hotel to the "Csardas" restaurant famous for International and Hungarian cuisine in the Heart of Buda, serving duck meat prepared different ways, with savory sides to complement the meal. The gypsy violinist will serenade you throughout the evening. He will come to each table for requests. If you don't tip right away, he will return
Tuesday- Jan 3rd, 2020.
How do you wish to spend your last day in this incredible city? Look for last minute gifts, take in some more amazing sights, or relax at the hotel; it's all up to you. The concierge will help plan your day.
Our adventure draws to a close as we conclude with a visit to one of the most beautiful opera houses in Europe, the Budapest Opera House for a performance of "La BoMme by G. Puccini" After the sensational performance we have dinner at the best and most famous restaurant in Budapest "Callas" restaurant next to the impressive Heroes' Square.
Wednesday- Jan 4, 2020
At our farewell breakfast, we say goodbye to new friends as we depart to the airport for the voyage home.
